Meet Lindsay Allen - Billings RN/Case Manager
Hospice is about assisting others, providing quality end-of-life care, and equipping patients and their families with the ability to accept the care and support they deserve. We appreciate the demanding work and dedication of our compassionate and resilient staff; we'd like to introduce you to one of our incredible team.
Lindsay Allen exceeds expectations for our patients, community, and hospice. We recently interviewed Lindsay to gain insight into her life and passion as an RN/Case Manager in Billings.
Stillwater Hospice: What year did you start with Stillwater Hospice?
Lindsay: 2022.
Stillwater Hospice: What would you be if you weren't so dang good at your current job?
Lindsay: An interior designer or choir director!
Stillwater Hospice: What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
Lindsay: To always be grateful for my health and my life. "It is a privilege to grow older."
Stillwater Hospice: What would your superpower be if you were a superhero?
Lindsay: To fly.
Stillwater Hospice: When you were five years old, what did you think your profession would be?
Lindsay: Professional Singer.
Stillwater Hospice: Cats or dogs; do you have any?
Lindsay: I love cats and dogs equally! I currently have 2 cats - Bailey is 16 years old and Bimmer is 9.
Stillwater Hospice: What is your favorite word in the English language?
Lindsay: Perseverance.
Stillwater Hospice: What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?
Lindsay: To trust your instincts and never be afraid to reach out to your team for support or advice. And to always remember that the meaning of "comfort" is different for each individual.
Stillwater Hospice: What's the most inspiring part of your job?
Lindsay: I am inspired and humbled daily by the courage and strength of the individuals I care for and serve.
Stillwater Hospice: What is the most important thing I learned as a child was...
Lindsay: The Golden Rule - Treat others as one wants to be treated.
