Billings, Montana
Located in the heart of Billings, Montana, Stillwater Hospice is a beacon of compassionate care in a landscape where quality end-of-life services were once scarce. Recognizing a critical gap in providing dignified and supportive care during life's final chapter, our founders embarked on a mission to redefine the standards of hospice care.
From its inception, Stillwater Hospice prioritized its team, understanding that a culture of support and empowerment would be the cornerstone of exceptional service. Believing that the experience of transitioning from life should be one of comfort, respect, and solace, our dedicated professionals are committed to ensuring that every individual and their loved ones find solace and support during this delicate time.
Born from deep gratitude for the Billings community that has been a nurturing home, Stillwater Hospice is a testament to the desire to give back. With a keen awareness of the need for improved end-of-life care, we set out to create something extraordinary β a sanctuary where compassion meets expertise and every individual receives personalized attention and care tailored to their unique needs.
Central to our mission is the belief that fostering a culture of empathy and support enhances the experience for those in our care and our devoted staff. We strive to cultivate an environment where team members feel valued, empowered, and fulfilled, knowing that they play an integral role in making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Bolstered by solid community connections and a shared commitment to service, Stillwater Hospice has experienced rapid growth, allowing us to expand our reach and continue our mission of providing exceptional end-of-life care to all who need it. We Honor Veterans
Stillwater Hospice of Montana (Billings) is honored to be recognized as a We Honor Veterans hospice partner.
We Honor Veterans, a program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), invites hospices, state hospice organizations, Hospice-Veteran Partnerships and VA facilities to join a pioneering program focused on respectful inquiry, compassionate listening and grateful acknowledgment. By recognizing the unique needs of Americaβs Veterans and their families, community providers, in partnership with VA staff, will learn how to accompany and guide them through their life stories toward a more peaceful ending.
