Meet Brynn Turcotte - Bozeman LPN

Hospice is about assisting others, providing quality end-of-life care, and equipping patients and their families with the ability to accept the care and support they deserve. We appreciate the demanding work and dedication of our compassionate and resilient staff; we'd like to introduce you to one of our incredible team.

Brynn Turcotte consistently exceeds the expectations of our patients, families, community, and hospice. We recently interviewed Brynn to gain insight into her life and passion as an LPN in Bozeman, Montana.

Stillwater Hospice: What year did you start with Stillwater Hospice?

Brynn: 2021.

Stillwater Hospice: What would you be if you weren't so dang good at your current job?

Brynn: A police officer.

Stillwater Hospice: What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Brynn: Self-care is so important in this line of work.

Stillwater Hospice: What would your superpower be if you were a superhero?

Brynn: Healing powers.

Stillwater Hospice: When you were five years old, what did you think your profession would be?

Brynn: A nurse.

Stillwater Hospice: Cats or dogs; do you have any?

Brynn: I have 5-year-old Mini Australian Shepard named Darby

Stillwater Hospice: What is your favorite word in the English language?

Brynn: Relaxation--trying to learn to do this more!

Stillwater Hospice: What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

Brynn: Speak from the heart. Be straightforward with people and be honest.

Stillwater Hospice: What's the most inspiring part of your job?

Brynn: I get to walk through the hardest part of life with people and help them see how strong they are.

Stillwater Hospice: What is the most important thing I learned as a child was...

Brynn: How to have faith. My father was a helicopter pilot for the US Army and was gone a lot. I had to have faith that he would be ok and come home to us after each deployment.

Stillwater Hospice: What else would you like us to know?

Brynn: I am a Montana native. I am the wife of a custom home builder. I am the mom of twin boys that are 15 years old. My calling is to be a Hospice nurse and I am beyond grateful that Stillwater Hospice took a chance on a new nurse and gave me the chance of a lifetime.

Thank you, Brynn, for your hard work and commitment to hospice; our patients and families admire your services. Keep up the generous work and upbeat attitude!
