Meet Becky Smith | Bozeman LPN

Congratulations to Becky Smith, Bozeman LPN, and Stillwater Hospice Employee Spotlight for May. Becky has been working for Stillwater Hospice for one year. She is a dedicated and reliable team member that is appreciated by her colleagues and the clients she serves. 

We recently interviewed Becky to gain insight into her day-to-day life as a Stillwater Hospice team member and beyond: 

Stillwater Hospice: What year did you start with Stillwater Hospice: 

Becky: 2022.

Stillwater Hospice: What would you be if you weren't so dang good at your current job?

Becky: A travel agent.

Stillwater Hospice: What is the best advice you have ever received? 

Becky: Synergy is the bonus that is achieved when people work together harmoniously.

Stillwater Hospice: What would your superpower be if you were a superhero?

Becky: To read peoples' "bubble."

Stillwater Hospice: Cats or dogs; do you have any? 

Becky: One dog…a Bassett named Roscoe (two points for those people that know the origin of his name:) and a cat named Fifa (named by a 12-year-old obsessed with soccer).

Stillwater Hospice: What is your favorite word in the English language? 

Becky: Breathe.

Stillwater Hospice: What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

Becky: Our job is the best. We get to meet all the wisest people, and the leaders truly value us.

Stillwater Hospice: What's the most inspiring part of your job?

Becky: Being able to walk along with a patient and their support team to help them find strength during what can feel like one of the weakest times in their lives.

Stillwater Hospice: What is the most important thing you learned as a child? 

Becky: Take time to wander.

When I was 5, what did you think you would be when you grew up?

Becky: Librarian.

Stillwater Hospice: What else would you like us to know?

Becky: Being part of a great team is working its weight in gold…and I feel very rich working here.
