Lessons From Grief

The unexpected outcome of loss

A painted rock with a heart and message about love and loss; grief

Grief. We know about it. We've likely been through it or are still trying to endure this profound life transition. Yet, these feelings of loss and sadness are a part of our lives; no matter who we are, eventually, we will experience a loss that shakes us to our core.

The aftermath of losing a loved one is a very personal and diverse journey, affecting individuals in intensely unique ways. And oddly, the natural outcome is often accompanied by lessons, whether we welcome them or not.

How can we best use these lessons to live our lives in a whole and mindful manner? If we allow ourselves to navigate grief with patience, non-judgment, and self-compassion, perhaps we can also approach life with a different outlook.

We found this great blog from What's Your Grief that lists 64 of the hardest grief lessons. Our team couldn't have summed it up any better.
